Some Thoughts On Why We Still Give

Gamma Psi thanks all of the Brothers who have given to our organization in the past, as well as this year. Have you ever asked yourself why you give? Is it part of your charitable routine? Do you want to help keep the flame alive for the future and what may lay ahead? Whatever the case, we thank you. Here are some reasons we collected from past surveys of other Lambda Chi Alpha members from various chapters around the country about why they have and continue to give back to our organization:

"My four years in college were a wonderful experience and a great foundation for my later career. The campus activities and opportunities were enriching and fulfilling, so I give back"

"Membership in the fraternity gave me, a financially struggling vet, the opportunity to continue my studies at college, after my G.I. benefit was no longer available to me."

"The pride, fellowship and bonding that resulted from belonging to such a fine organization are attributes that remain with you for the rest of your life. The teamwork spirit that is developed for the betterment of the organization is not something that would not have been developed by being in a dorm or apartment. The combined experiences are a part of what builds your character."

"I made some great friends through LXA that I will have for the rest of my life. It only makes sense that I should lend my support to something that has been so valuable to me."

So what are YOUR reasons? Let us know here.
