Mitch Cihomsky Class of 1975

Nancy and Mitch in Naples, Italy 2015

Nancy and I at Sundance Film Festival, Park City Utah 2015

“After a brief and unprofitable stint on Wall Street, I began a career as a marine engineer and was employed in the shipping industry for some 30 years. Having retired in 2008, I taught at California Maritime Academy for several years and now I actively paint as an amateur artist.

I live on Nob Hill in San Francisco with a woman named Nancy. Nancy and I do a lot of traveling – mostly to Europe. We also do a lot of sailing on San Francisco Bay. I race on other people's sailboats when asked, and we volunteer on the race committee at the St. Francis Yacht Club.

Life is good and I encourage any brothers to contact me should you find yourself in the Bay area.”

Lew Iadarola Class of 95

Temple last free throw to go to overtime for Temple. Temple ended up losing.

Jason Galinski ’97, Lew Iadarola ’95, Rick Lohkamp

“I am married with twin girls (10) in Ellicott City, MD. I am currently working at Meggitt PLC, in Aerospace Defense as Director of Business Development in Baltimore, MD. I still get together with Brother's regularly, most recently at NCAA games in Brooklyn. Noel Hedgecock’s wife got tickets for the weekend. Sean Glickenhaus ’94, Jason Galinski ’97, and I went to games (among others). LXA should get a box or group tickets and a hotel next year!”

Mike Cook Class of 1960

“I'm still in Fairbanks, AK working a lot during tax season and hoping for a good summer with time for the Lake.”

James A. McBratney ’09

James and fiancé Elisa Pennetti

“I recently got engaged to my long-time girlfriend and Alpha Gamma Delta Lehigh ’10 alum, Elisa Pennetti, while on vacation in the Bahamas.

We met during my senior year (her junior) in the Lambda Chi common room! It was after a party or something, and she was holding court by the pool table entertaining a group of brothers with jokes that were largely inappropriate in nature. We started dating later in 2009, graduated together with my MS and her BS in 2010, and moved in together in New York City in June of 2014. I popped the question on March 20, 2016. We are currently planning to have the wedding in September of 2017.”

 Michael Spreadbury Class of 1993

“My favorite memory of my time at Lehigh was the two-wheeled de-stressing sessions on my motorbike. The beautiful two lane highways helped me clear my head and prepare for the rigors of Lehigh University. The social aspect of Viking dinners, lawn darts, and Greek cocktails kept things interesting at Lambda Chi Alpha.

I meet up with a native of Bethlehem locally and catch up when I can. She spent a few months recently as a family member passed.  It’s nice to connect with someone who is from the area, as we are far, far away from South Mountain in Western Montana.

Since I am so distant from campus, I don’t get a chance to engage in alumni activities, but I certainly enjoy reading about my brothers and my school. I definitely enjoyed Lehigh’s defeat of Duke in the NCAA March Madness tournament a few years back.”

Dave Lynn ’58

“As past President of Gamma Psi Zeta and Head of Trustees (many years ago), I hope that LXA returns as active chapter at Lehigh.”
