Another semester has ended at Lambda Chi Alpha, and I'm happy to report that our success from the previous year has continued. The chapter recently announced The First Annual Lambda Chi Alpha Scholarship Banquet. This banquet will be held to reward the brothers who attain the highest GPA each semester from each class. The attendees will include: active members, alumni, school officials, and the President of the University. The brothers hope that such an event will provide the rest of the house with an incentive to perform to the best of their academic abilities. In addition, the house is preparing to recruit another large Associate Member class beginning in January 2008. The house recruited classes of approximately 20 new members the past few years, and they are committed to continuing the trend. Furthermore, the Lehigh-Lafayette Alumni Tailgate and LXA Lamb Roast were also successful. Several alumni, young and old, were around for "The Rivalry" and participated in three different tailgates. The alumni also went to the house and enjoyed the Lamb Roast while mingling with the active members. It was a great weekend, and hopefully you can all make it for Greek Week '08. As always, we encourage all alumni to continue visiting the Gamma Psi website for further information about the chapter, make donations, add photos, update contact information, and most importantly keep in touch with old friends.
